Jane Blickett, Trauma Release Exercise Practitioner

Jane Blickett TRE Trauma Release Exercise Practitioner & Certified Counsellor

TRE exercises encourage the body to naturally let go of accumulated stress and tension. TRE can be learned with a certified provider and then practiced at home, offering huge potential for individuals to be empowered in their own healing. By directly journeying within our own internal landscape, we can befriend, question and become conscious of our own nervous system, heart, mind and emotions. Learning how to let go and find rest is an essential and ongoing part of any healing. From the first moment Jane encountered this practice she fell in love with the benefits of this healing practice. Jane is a certified TRE provider, listed on the official TRE website  traumaprevention.com.

Counselling - Jane often works incorporating the use of the Felt Sense. The felt sense is how we sense and feel in our bodies just below our conscious thoughts. Working in this way reveals what is under the familiar stories that we tell ourselves and thus is a powerful resource in the emerging of a more genuine experience of ourselves. The work was developed by Eugene Gendlin and is called focusing. Counselling offers the presence of deep non judgmental listening so that we may more easily explore our own internal experience without fear of judgement and rejection, eventually we can learn to internalize these qualities for ourselves.

To book a 75 to 90 minute one to one TRE session or counselling session please leave a message. Will respond within 24 hours.
